North East Lucy is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo. Her sire, 6 Peruvian Accoyo Plantel is a full Accoyo white male with a very dense fleece which exhibits great character. He was the Accoyo male chosen first in the 1998 import. Plantel has excellent conformation and is one of those phenotypically handsome males that will stop you in your tracks. He brings density, fleece weight, character, thick bone structure and that undeniable Accoyo phenotype to all his progeny. One look at Lucy and you can tell it's true!
North East Lucy's dam is Maxine, a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo daughter of Felix and a Hemingway granddaughter. As you know, the Accoyo and Hemingway lines are an exceptional cross. North East Lucy has a nice square appearance, a well shaped head with short spear shaped ears, straight legs, and thick bone. Her fleece reflects the silky soft handle for which Hemingway genetics are known for, crossed with the powerful qualities of the Accoyo lines.
